			<content type="html"><![CDATA[If you have after effects, then using the beam (Effects, Generate, Beam) you can make a simple laser. To animate it, make a position key frame at the start of the laser when it is coming out of the gun. Then go when you want the laser to end and drag it of the screen and voila.

Because of the speed of lasers, you'd probably have to animate frame-by-frame anyway.
