Also, do this on a table when it is dark and use a lamp. I have learned that. You are MUCH better than me when I first started. GOOD JOB and KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK! :)

Well, I read through this thread before even watching the film, and I expected it to be terrible, I was dead wrong.

Sure, most of the punches were pretty fake, and it was short, that's not really a problem, as it was enjoyable, and the animation was quite good.

Really, this blew away my expectations, I don't know why you guys are so harsh, sheesh, BIM should really be a community of nicer people. [/won't throw out names of who need to grow up and build up others *cough*Kinzcove, Gareth, Lech, LSP, Mcoov, Chuppa, Tdogg*cough*]

Well, it wasn't amazing, but for one of a first few films, I think it was pretty good really. I wasn't that good with my first. I always found punching a difficult thing. To do that, it is helpful to make the minifigure turn, stop, and stay stopped for a few frames, then swing his arm forward, and make sure the other guy looks like he got hit too. Camera movements are also VERY helpful in fight scenes. Again, Fancypants has great tutorials on that. Good luck again!

And it really helps to watch and read tutorials, I figured that out eventually. Due to that my brickfilming has improved more in the last like 6 months than in the last few years. You should check out Fancypant's tutorials, they're really helpful. And if you have a tripod, those are great if you set your background on a table and put the tripod next to it. Otherwise you could build a lego structure around your Camera to keep it in place sorta. Make sure your set is heavy enough too. and if it just can't be, use rocks or such heavy items on the corners. And you should also try using two desk lamps, I believe others have suggested that though. Good luck! Okay, I haven't really seen the film. I probably should. :P lol But I believe I have a pretty good idea of what you need to know. I would watch it, but my internet server has bandwidth restrictions. Oh! And another VERY important thing! You should try to film in a dark room, I use the room with our furnace in it. If it has no windows, it's awesome. and again, good luck!

That wasn't very good, but its better than some other stuff I've seen. I suggest tape down your camera and sets, make sure the camera is on manual exposure, I'm not sure if you did but use desk lamps in a dark room, and take your time. Its not bad for one of your first attempts. ;)

So were they like shaking hands or something? IT was very technical flawy, too many set, camera bumps, and plenty of light flicker.
Hypocrite.
If someone criticises someone elses film, which has similar flaws to their own films, doesn't make them a hypocrite. A very silly thing to say - not impressed
