Looks like they want to create a LEGO movie out of a table top miniature game (which uses LEGO)

Having played table top war games and made movies I don't think it would be that great. Often in games it seams like the last turn or so is one player wiping up the other which does not make for great pacing, as often in movies the antagonist is about to win until the very end when the protagonist comes through against all odds. Also with a game you don't have a clear protagonist/antagonist, so it might run like a sports game, only very few viewers will have a vested interest in ether team.

Well, most of you won't know what brikwars is, but it's a turn and dice-based wargame with lego minifigures, and my idea was to have a 'forum battle' (a battle where orders for different teams are sent by their respective players through the brikwars.com forums to the host, who runs the game and carries the orders out), which instead of putting up pictures for the report of the battle each turn, I would animate each turn and put it into a full brickfilm battle at the end.
http://www.brikwars.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=5130 is my post on brikwars.com

Thoughts?

PS. Rules are on brikwars.com if you want to know how to play or are just interested, it's a pretty long rulebook though, but you can make the games as basic or advanced as you want using more or less rules.
