The pana is max 640 x 480 (i think), but i only use 640 x 360 ( widescreen).

The logitech has much higher res. I think 1600 x 1200.... And you can set it to 1280 x 720, a HD format.

However in image result, the pana on full manual is very, very nice...

Look at fancypants vids, who used the same Cam.

We ended up staying entirely with Mac because I would have had to buy windows 7 and a new version of VMFusion.

Got an old Panasonic PV-GS320 which allows for the manual focus I was trying to achieve with the Q9000.
Stick with the panasonic. Got the Same Cam here and THE only down Side is the resolution.
Sorry to ask such a basic question, but what is the issue with the resolution?

I'm assuming it's not as "HD" as the Q9000?

The image looks great on the computer screen though.
I have Bootcamp running on my iMac. Recently bought the logitech Webcam Pro 9000. Downloaded the lws110.exe (old software which includes the manual white-balance). Cam works like a charm, but i have to cope with the additional light flicker. My Panasonic Cam didn't have any flicker on full manual.

Btw, i run windows 7 home premium.

Hope this helps.
Thanks much.

I am also running a Windows partition on my HardDrive. I bought an external desktop harddrive that I use to transfer files. The harddrive is formatted in FAT32 (windows), and is read fine by the Mac OS. But if the HD is HFS+ (Macintosh) Windows may not write/read from it.

I just have to get Final Cut up and running to start actually using my Mac for more stuff.

Were you able to get the 9000 to run on your Windows system in Mac? I'd like to do the same thing, but have read others have had issues.

And i thought that since my birthday is coming up i can get the QC 9000 and use it on the windows system, but i want to know if i can animate a film on the windows portion with my 9000, then send it to my mac for editing and effects? Would it work fine, and is it possible to send a file from the windows operating system to my macintosh operating system?:|
