thanks for the critics ;)
I agree on the someway too round water particles that are coming from the building, I'll change the particles from circles to lines next time. I personally still like the effect tough. In the film it will be used in some shots, not in all of them :P

And I agree with you about the detail, but as this will be an avant-garde entry, ''usually'' is not the right word  .

I'm not telling anything more about the entry, because then some flamish guy is gonna hunt me down and kill me (Dexter style).

The rain itself was great, but the splashes in the street looked too layered-on and the water coming off the buildings looked too particle-y. I actually would have skipped that part altogether, since most buildings have gutters and don't have that sort of thing anyway.

The rain itself was good, but I don't think you should have made the rain drip off the buildings. Everything apart from that looked good. Usually brickfilms don't need that detail anyway. I think it would only be a drip or two if you want to make it practical but keep it looking good.

As I'm preparing myself for a new short film that includes raining, I'm trying to give it depth and realism, which is very hard to make. I also practiced on how to make it looks like it's starting to rain. Blue screen is awefull I know, but I was a bit lazy in that part.
