For the standing up problem, you could keep them up with, I dunno, anything that keeps them in place, and then just only film the top half of the figure. Like, say that he was the figure ⬇

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[I was hoping to start a non-lego stop motion series revolving around various toys, but the problem is most of my action figures are so old, their arms just fall to their sides when lifted, and they cant stand up. How could I keep the arms/other joints to stay, without making it noticable on film?]]></content>
