I agree with Sean on this one, it would make the assassination a bit more easier to understand.

I wrote the ending to be surprising, and let the shock sink in with the viewer; think it over.

As for the beginning, yes, having the photo bit mixed in with the sharp dressed man's glances wouldn't be a terrible idea

Perhaps if you gave some subtle hint that the suited man is actually an assassin/spy of some sort in the opening scene that would help. Not enough to give it away, but enough to make the viewer think "aha!". Idea: Maybe one of the first shots could be the suited man sitting there and glancing at his target's photo, when he is distracted by the couple's fight outside. Then towards the end of his lecture, the target could walk past them into the bathroom (though not obviously).

Just trying to think of ways to tie it together more :)
I'm glad you enjoyed it! You don't see too many serious brickfilms, and i've always been about trying to break that boundary even more.

Not sure, like I said, VIM approached me, and it's in his hands now. Seeing as the script is good to go, he can easily jump on casting, and begin building and animating. I'd say sometime in the near future if he doesn't hit any issues.
I hate hypocrisy too! I'm going to have a read :)

I did kind of enjoy the story. Here's a few of my thoughts...

I thought the Young Man described the insect metaphor as he saw it a bit too well spoken, if that makes sense. I don't know if that's the kind of character you're going for, but perhaps the Young Man's dialog could be simplified?

The assassination was slightly off putting. I love a good assassination as much as the next guy (heck, my first brickfilm featured an assassin) but it kind of felt odd to me, almost as if it was an afterthought to the story.

Overall, looking good :)
I appreciate it. I did intentionally write it that way, to be very intellectual, like its almost an indirect lecture of sorts. As for the assassination, I do admit, it seems out there, but that's the point, the guy puts on an act the whole time.

So, this is my first original script in a while, and the first really to be a stand-alone story(not be an installment of sorts).

It is a short script (5-6 pages), and is very much a statement about hypocrisy, which, I hate.

check it out (PDF form): http://www.mediafire.com/?fyveomolfv0

EDIT: To those who may be interested, VimStudios currently has dibs on the script.
