			<content type="html"><![CDATA[To clear up the confusion... Premiere can be purchased separately, as can After Effects. The Production Premium package comes with Photoshop, Premiere, AE, Encore, and a whole bunch of other software you probably won't use.

I'm a big fan of Final Cut Pro, personally, but since you already know Vegas I'd stick with that. Once you get into the high-end software, they're all pretty similar in terms of what they can do.]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[I think Vegas would be your best option if you don't have time to spend learning another piece of software head to toe.
It took me around 2-3 months to fully master Premier/After Effects/Photoshop, while Vegas I was able to find everything I needed easily.

And After Effects doesn't come with Premier. I'm pretty sure it does come with Encore/dvd authoring, and maybe OnLocation/Video record-download.]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[For your money the Premiere package is probably your best bet, but then again Vegas is better :shifty: 
I don't think is would cost $500 though so you would save money. In Australia it is between $200-$300 depending on where you buy it.]]></content>
