Although I might add, it makes some colors look more desaturated than others. The brighter colors stand out more than the dull colors.]]></content>

That won't let some objects stand out in terms of colour. All you're doing is desaturating all of it, not parts of it.]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[One part of the picture in colour would be like in Sin City. Here is a test I did a few weeks ago:

It's simple. Just use 2 layers. Layer 1 the original pic in colour. Layer 2 is the same pic, but in black and white. Layer 1 is located under layer 2. Now cut the parts out of layer 2, you want to have in colour.

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[One layer without the object is taken in black and white, and the other layer with the object is taken in color. Then you mix the two layers. I've never done it myself, though.]]></content>
