Oh, I forgot to mention my favorite films of the year, which would be WALL-E, duh. I think WALL-E deserves a Best Film nomination, or win. I haven't seen one film this year that has impressed me more, and it's gotten pretty high ratings anyway, so unless the Academy still thinks that all animated films should be placed in the Best Animation ghetto (as I've heard it called), I am sure it will get nominated.

I also liked The Incredible Hulk and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, even though they weren't the best films of the year, and I tolerated City of Ember and Get Smart, but I hated Horton Hears a Who.

3D animation is beggining to bore me. Its just overused these days. Ever since 2D animation stopped :(
But have you seen them?
Unfortunately, yes.

I suppose every time I rant about Wall-E, I'm gonna start a war. It was a nice movie, but I just have the opinion that I cant shake away.

Wall-E however, is the only movie that I have almost cried in (yeah, call me a %^&%#), so it must be pretty clever.

And, I cant see 'The Wrestler', due to its 15 rating.
I suppose drugs are heavily involved in Professional Wrestling.
I didnt really like Wall-E. It created great emotional attachments to the robot, but maybe a little too much. Compared to other Pixar movies, there was no replay value in it. With other movies, I notice something different every time, but this movie just was not the case.
Watch it for the great beginning, then. Most definitely the best first 30 minutes in a Pixar film, ever. I disagree with you about the re-watch value though. I have to keep myself from watching it so many times, so I've told myself I can't watch it again until I get and watch Ratatouille.
