			<content type="html"><![CDATA[Depends on the story. If you're going with a grittier film a la [i]The French Connection[/i], then go with color and the present (or the 70s or 80s...) If you want a tongue-in-cheek cliche-filled piece a la [i]Double Indemnity[/i], go with 60s and black and white. And I'd definitely go with something more original than "detective gets killed."]]></content>

Oh, and black and white, and set in the 60's sounds awesome. And definitely do a series.
