			<content type="html"><![CDATA[Yeah, it's one of the drawbacks of Carrara's particle system, it's not flexible to certain things like having an explosion particle system generated where and when another particle dies or collides with something.  What you're seeing is the re-spawn setting enabled for when a particle collides with something.  Those are actually tiny bullets flying out.  I mainly did it to enhance lighting.  They'll be scaled down further in future renderings.]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[It sounds like you're not in the right area of Carraa.  You should be seeing this when you're modifying the settings for a particle emitter.  Read the manual, please, for the sake of my thread going off topic.
