Actually, we got the music from televisiontunes.com. Also, the point of the alien ship being untexured is that it is something from another world, that consequently probably has no need for texures. The ship is also made up of an unknown alien substance, so it can look fake. As for the landscape, we think it is fine as it is, but we will look into trying to improve it. Also, the planes, jeeps, and other vehicles are supposed to have an almost fake look to them. It just sort of adds to the effect. Oh, and Jackpody, what do you mean by "That's exactly why I love it." Did you like the music, or what is it that you mean?

I don't know, I wasn't such a fan of the CG shots. Perhaps the landscape would be more impressive if I didn't know it was something that came with the software. The CG shots look very flat and computer generated to me, and the landscape environment just kind of stops, there's not much consistency between the stop motion and the effects shots. A higher level of realism is certainly possible in Carrara. Stuff like that big, blue, textureless round thing leaves some room for improvement, textures might help.

I recognized the music from the Mirror Universe episodes of Star Trek: Enterprise. I think it was stock music in that case, though, so perhaps you just got it from the same source.

This a trailer that we threw together for a film we will probably never make. We were doing a ton of special effects tests, and this is what we came up with. It was really cool to make, and it is really our first real "war" film. This also helped to greatly improve our CGI skills. Hope you think it is as cool as we do! (Oh, and we apologize for the poor non-CGI animation. We just threw those parts together quickly, so the have not so good quality.) :)
