I thought the first Tectonic Man was great, but I didn't think the sequel lived up to it. It seemed more generic (the jewel thieves were not memorable like the bank-robbing robots of the first) and it had less humor to it. It wasn't all bad by any means, but it lacks the unique charm of the first installment.

That was a stylistic choice. We were going for a "film noir" feel with the lighting and atmosphere for this second installment so we could expand our horizons. Yet I see your point. Thanks for the constructive comment :D

That was very good, though not as exciting as the first one, which felt like it was in a larger world. Here everything felt rather desolate and empty, but even so it was pretty fun to watch. The technical aspects are all wonderful as with the last one, and you've done a great job replicating the style of the old TV shows. I'm greatly anticipating the next one!

I quite like how this was intended to look like a 1920-1950 black and white filmstrip. Although if I really make a comparison, this doesn't really look like a old B&W film.

Maybe it's just me, but the camera views doesn't really remind me of an old B&W film and insted, a typical brickfilm. Also, some of the voice overs' sound quality doesn't fit with the music and the rest of the film.
But the rest is pretty OK.

The story... I don't think I need to comment on, because I think it's intended to be simple.

Overall, a decent little brickfilm with an 1920-1950 B&W film quality.

I didn't think it was as great as the previous one. It still had a little charm but I didn't find myself enjoying it as much as I should. By the end, I had started to drift away. The animation was considerably better and the black and white effect is very effective still. The voices were probably the highlight of the film, and I think that is what made the previous one so enjoyable. The voices, story and technical qualities all add to the authenticity of the film and it feels like something made in the past. But the plot premise seemed a little too simple and with the lack of jokes, this film was like a cake with no icing.
