I have an older digital camera (HP photosmart R717) but it takes better videos than both my digital camera (Even after tweaking, the thing is garbage) and my webcam (I have the Logitech Quickcam 4k, but it's very old).

I was wondering if I could connect my digital camera via USB and record videos in, let's say, Adobe Premiere? If not, is there some sort of program that enables digital cameras to be used this way?

Thank you!
