There are some nice details here. The warm lighting in the room, the black paper around the interior of the door frame, and the very nice transition at 1:23. 

There is one issue I have with it. Because the final light that he saunters into is the same warm lighting as the inside of the room, it almost feels like he is trapped in a loop and light/darkness/light, rather than escaping darkness/room into light/freedom. I'd have made the room darker and more foreboding to make the audience understand the feeling of being trapped and needing escape.  Another tiny nit-pick with the lighting, but I'd have liked to see the "dark void" area a bit dimmer, with harsher (and more) shadows. 

Otherwise, it's a solid film. Good job on it.]]></content>
