You would be correct in that assessment, Lech. I put a mask on an adjustment layer, then painfully matched it to his head movement in every frame. Fortunately this made moving the face quite easy, since there was a line I could use to position it.

I'm currently working on some making-of stuff, though it could be some time before it's out since I'm redesigning my site.]]></content>

And I believe the scarred face was a darkening mask (because I can see some flickering near the top stud of the head).]]></content>

From what I can see I love how you lit the shot, though I think we should have been able to see Batman a bit better, and have him not so in the shadows. Great FX!]]></content>
