			<content type="html"><![CDATA[I've heard of people using Mindstorms, but I'm not sure if any of them were successful. Have you looked into LEGO Power Functions? That has motors and stuff (not a computer controller though). I guess I'm really no help because I've never used Mindstorms before... :/]]></content>

I'm interested in getting into it, and I'm wondering if I really need the whole set, or which parts are worth buying separately, and what I would absolutely need to do something functional like a motion control rig.]]></content>
