well, someone seems to have it in for me.Now *typically* my laptop power pack output has screwed up. so yesterday evening was spent taking the laptop apart and re-soldering my positive laptop charge output cable to the motherboard. So i am hoping that i can finish this evening, if not then i will cancel my entry to S.T.A.R. I may still create a short movie that is elegible to star but it wont be entered if i finish after the deadline.

Oh, I have one of those! (actually more than one -- who animates with just one lamp?)
Anyway you want some nice, soft lighting. Bright, but soft. Get a nice bulb and tape a sheet of printer paper to the lamp to diffuse the light.

Well, you should put your lamp quite low down, to get the effect that the Sun is still low in the sky. Also, if you want it frosty, then make sure it's a white bulb and/or put a slightly blue filter on it.

I'm sure there are more ways, but I'll leave the other site members to elaborate on them.
