Without a fancy program, you can use an x-sheet. Below are a few pages from a quick BiM search about x-sheets (there are probably more, but I didn't look very hard). It's what Dragonframe uses except it's automatic in that program.

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[I used to do it your way Headpods, however as you said it can be time consuming at times (especially when I somehow never thought of breaking up the dialogue recording sessions so that I didn't have to start again if I messed up half-way through :rolleyes:).

Now, I use a free software called Audacity (absolutely amazing) for recording dialogue (which I now do before I start animating) and then either after I have finished the animation I pair it up in an editing software (even the simplest should be able to do that) or (and this is only in certain circumstances) I will pair it up with my animation while I'm animating in Dragonframe, usually if I am needing to exaggerate/emphasise what is being said.]]></content>

1) I animate and record audio independently of each other
2) I add the dialogue track to the video editor.
3) I match my video to the audio.]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[I don't know what software you use, but for me, I get all the voices done first and add the audio track underneath the video track, just like with video editing software. With mine, when you click on a frame, it plays the sound from that frame. I also have the option to playback, so I know exactly what I'm doing when I animate dialogue. My suggestion: if you can't do this with your software, upgrade to a software that can. Trust me, it's worth doing!]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[While making a Brickfilm, dialogue (audio tracks) voiced have to be animated. How do you guys animate dialogue ([i]voice acting audio tracks[/i])? Ever since I have begun animating, I had to animate my figures first and then, using the recent footage, voice over the footage and match up whatever I'm saying with the motion and animation of the figures. This is, and still, very TIME CONSUMING! :mad: 

I need a better way, fast! Can you guys give suggestions of how you guys animate [i]voice acting audio tracks[/i]? 
How do you guys animated audio tracks into your Brick-film? Is there a special, easier way? Thanks guys! :yes:]]></content>
