Not exactly Brick oriented, but I had a blog a while back where I did walk cycles like mad. I've been a bit lazy about that blog in the past couple years, but it gave me a lot of insight into planning walks.

Richard Williams' "Animator's Survival Kit" goes into some really great detail on walks, and belongs in every animator's library.

A walk cycle can change so much depending on what style you are going for. I have personally used around 5 different walk cycles ranging from 4 to 8 frames per step. My most common would be the 5 frames per step though.

What Dragon Brick Studios suggested would be a good way to see other people's walk sequences.

I just thought that I would mention that if you want to see a specific person's walk cycle, you could always use watchframebyframe (recommended to me by thistof) which is a website where you can literally watch any youtube video frame by frame. Still, it would be nice to see other peoples' walk cycles here anyway :) unfortunately, I don't have enough time to post mine, but it's nothing special. Just the one that is commonly used in 15fps brickfilms :)
