I've noticed that stop motion is used as a world/viewing separator in cartoons now.

For bronies out there, noticed that in the episode "A friend in deed" in Pinkie's mind, the scene is animating with stop motion. I really liked how there showed the different world of Pinkie's mind from the rest of the world.

Also, Flapjack has some scenes done in stop motion. So does Chowder, I think.

I like that effect.

I don't see much Stop motion on TV too, but I guess that's because I don't watch TV very often. Although, I know there was an Italian studio in the '70 that made many stop motion shorts with clay, paper, sand and water. I've seen a few of them, they're great, and the animation is fantastic. EDIT: , but then again some people think that "The Corpse Bride" was stop motion. Which brings me to an annoying habbit a few people I know do
Should I express my hate for the word "emo", I would turn into the Hulk[/quote]

this may be old but.
IT IS STOP-MOTION!!!!!! people often think it's not because it's too clean, but in fact it truely is. I know for a fact because I've talked to many of the people that worked on the film and here talk a look at this link from wikipedia.
