The animation in this is really a strong point. The motions aren't too jerky, yet, don't exactly have a very smooth flow. Normally, this might be a problem, but, in such a short action piece like this, it actually serves the brickfilm better. The music is at just about a perfect volume; the sound effects never drowning it out, or getting lost beneath it.

The action itself, while a bit standard, is shown pretty beautifully through the clever use of cuts and cinematography. They say a good editor is never truly appreciated because a good editor goes unnoticed. The cuts between the angles are neither too frequent nor too spacious. Everything seems to fall into place, and, while the pacing is a bit fast - it again serves the purpose of the piece; all out action.

The two weakest elements of the brickfilm have to be the "silent" moments, and the sets. While I do like the sound design for the most part, I would recommend adding some ambient "room" noise, or "outdoors" noise quietly on loop in the background. This will make moments like this not quite as alien... Moments where sound comes to a complete standstill do have their purposes, but, this wasn't one such case. The sound of a light breeze, a car in the background, or some birds lightly chirping would only heighten the realism here.

The sets, while much better than a lot of amateur/indy filmmakers, do seem a bit empty - the warehouse in particular exemplifies this. Perhaps that's the look you were going for, but, adding a crate or two here or there couldn't hurt. I'm quite fond of more "busy" sets, such as seen in Nathan Wells' Alex and Derrick: Five Years Later, but, these aren't necessary just to tell a good story. Attempting sets like these are just a bit easier, especially for beginners, but using any technique that follows a big rule of set-building will do.

Overall, this is a great little project. It's certainly deserving of it's current 3 star status (at the time of writing this). I'm interested to see more of what you do. Keep up the great work.
