Overall, nice work though.

Great job on the lighting and sets, they were really good. Animation could use improvement, but I can tell you're trying to become better, which is most important. Great job on those dynamic camera moves too.

One really great way to help animation is by The Twelve Principles of Animation, although not all the principles apply to stopmotion, most of them do, and it will improve your animation greatly.

I like what I see, and hope to see more.

Your clarity of photos and lighting are pretty good. The smoothness of animation needs improvement. The sound design is your weakest point. You need more sound to create the environment. Also, because there is no dialogue in this film, your choices with sound become more important. For instance, if you chose to make it a silent film, you could still use music to supplement the film. Your pacing of story was too fast for the story to really sink in if it was supposed to be an all silent film. There were no cross fades to show the passage of time (the moon shot could have used this) and at some points, the up-close camera work felt oddly uncomfortable. I wanted more space, and fewer close-ups.

You're making progress. Keep it up!

I really enjoyed this , you created a great feeling of tension with a killer on the loose , the lighting of the dark alleyways was spot on - the cityscape background through the windows looked good - the Detective Office is a really nice set - check out my take on putting it to use
