I disagree with the idea that the QuickCam Pro 9000 is the "ideal" camera for brickfilming.

It cannot attach to a tripod or any other piece of video equipment, and it cannot be used away from a computer. I mean, with the cheapness of cameras these days, why not just invest in a small still camera? That would allow higher quality image capture and you can get SD cards that hold hundreds of images (perfect for animation) very cheap. Also, still cameras would allow for optical zoom, something not possible with the 9K.

I'm not denying that it's a great webcam, but if you have an interest in photography (many brickfilmers do), why not kill two birds with one stone and get a lot of bonus features to boot?
but what reasons
You can change the focus without touching the camera, therefore reducing camera bumps since you dont have to touch it.

It has better quality.

Not that expensive.

All controls are manual.

okay so i know this question has been answered a million times but i just want to make that a million and one before i push "add to cart" should i buy the 9000, should i buy it on skype or amazon?

EDIT: through amazon you can get it for $74 US free shipping and through skype you get it for $64 US with shipping which comes out to over $130 US, so i am going to buy it right now for the $74 US price unless someone stops me in the next 5 minutes with a better idea!

EDIT: i bought the 9000 and it will arrive in 5-9 work days, i will tell y'all what i think of it then!! cant wait!!!!! XD
