To kick off the month of October appropriately, this week’s Brickfilm of the Week is Chase of Horror by Martin Bretzer and Tobias Becker.

Chase of Horror is a 2006 black comedy/horror "cult" brickfilm by German brickfilmers Martin Bretzer and Tobias Becker ("mtproductions"). It follows a man driving recklessly at night who is chased by the police for running over two bank robbers and stealing their money.

While the directors did post the film to Brickfilms.com, they were not otherwise active in the community and mentioned in an interview that they had hardly seen any other brickfilms before making it. I think this lack of exposure probably worked in the film's favour, as it's unlike any other brickfilm I have seen.

What are your thoughts on Chase of Horror? What did you like about it? Did you have a favourite moment?
