It's fine to have a topic for a specific question like this, nobody'd see it otherwise.

I haven't heard of the meteor until now. After some googling, it sounds like they're in a similar quality level, here's an interesting comparison. I kinda think the Blue sounds better in his comparison. I have the Blue Yeti now, but I used to have a snowball. The only reason I switched was that I had a very old build of the snowball that wasn't compatible with Windows 7, but that's not a problem if you buy one new.

I have already read through both of those topics. I was specifically wondering about comparing the two mics.

Also, if this topic doesn't merit its own topic, feel free to close it. (I'm talking to you, moderators.)

These two threads are great topics that discuss microphones, and, often reference the strengths of the Blue Snowball quite nicely.

I am looking into buying a microphone. (I don't want to keep using the mic on my broken headphones...)

Anyhoo, I found two mics, the Blue Snowball and the Samson Meteor, for about the same price. I know that a lot of you have the Blue Snowball and like it, but I have also heard that the Samson might be a better mic. Currently, I am leaning towards the Samson.
What do you think?
