Did you want to avoid dialogue for artistic reasons? Do you like Samurai Jack? I like how there is dialogue, but it is sparse, and it makes each word spoken even more powerful. It may be something you'd like to try. I'd like to know more about your decision!

Including voices and therefore dialogue in the film is entirely your preference. It sounds like you are leaning on the side of wanting to include them though. Go for it!

You can post the casting call anytime you wish. However, you'll probably want to get the voice work done before you start animating so as to allow for a free range of acting. It can be a lot easier to animate to the audio rather than try to make it fit with pre-existing animation.

So I hosted a contest and I announced that I would dedicate a video to the winner. The film I want to dedicate is being made, but I'm almost to the point of voice actors and I was wondering if I should use them. The film takes place in the 14th century with a twist of magic, trolls, and humans. If I do make the casting call I will wait till the film is done and the script is made. Any suggestions?
