Yeah, it's too long to be an entry into EASTER.
But that doesn't mean it's not awesome!

I love the break away from using minifigures, as well as the fantastic opening shot, and the very solid animation.
The use of a red flower works surprisingly well to represent the "Rose of Sharon", and while the use of flowers doesn't sound as appealing on paper, your execution is practically flawless, and goes to show how unconventional imagery can sometimes shine in unexpected ways.

But there ain't much else I can think to say that ain't already been said.
Amazing job Rioforce.

Very well executed film Rioforce, this is probably one of my favorite entries for easter as well!

I really did enjoy the music along with the story, as that really portrayed the emotion for me.

This is truly brilliant and the fact it had no use of minifigs makes it that extra bit special!

Well done :)

Sincerely,
Divine.

Thanks for all the comments, guys! I'm glad you all enjoyed the film.
My only suggestion would be to try putting a little more emotion into the pieces. I thought that a lot of the emotion in this short was conveyed through the music, which was done well, but I thought the dipping of the flower heads to show sadness, or something like that, might have been a nice touch.
Thanks for the suggestion. I did notice that I failed to put very much emotion in the flowers, but you'd be surprised how hard it is to do that! :P If I ever animate flowers again, I'll keep that in mind. ;)
I also like the shallow DOF and some of the set design touches, such as mixing bley and gray for the rock textures. The choice of red for Christ was fitting.
I'm glad you liked it, Smeagol. I kept the DoF very shallow, because I thought it added a soft touch to the film. I see you noticed some of my symbolism. ;)
Gorgeous looking film. Were you using the vintage lenses again?
Yep, I exclusively used the Helios 44-2 58mm for this one.

Again, I'm glad you all liked the film. :)

This was awesome, you really have a talent for making stories with non-minifigure pieces. The way you I loved the depth of the establishing shot and liked how you used the method of backdrop you were working on in the frame thread a while back.

My only suggestion would be to try putting a little more emotion into the pieces. I thought that a lot of the emotion in this short was conveyed through the music, which was done well, but I thought the dipping of the flower heads to show sadness, or something like that, might have been a nice touch.

Regardless, this is one of my all time favorite Easter Brickfims!
