Non-violent? Don't you think it hurts when they pull the mask off of the guy's face? Or when Shaggy steps on a rake and it hits him in the face? :P
How about that time when the put Shaggy, Scooby, and the villain in hot wax, let it cool, and waiting for the police to arrive to chip away at the wax to reveal the bad guy. Sees to violent to me. Let's stick to something more peaceful like Chima... Wait. :P

WHAT!?

Holy smokes, I must have missed that! (And I'm a HUGE Johnny Thunder fan)

I wonder if that is somewhat of a tease for a new line of Johnny Thunder sets as well? I'd sure like to see some. :)

Now I realize why, when I first saw that set, I thought of Johnny Thunder

I;m glad they are basing these sets on the classic series and not the new Cartoon Network one coming out.

This is definitely my favorite set from the line. Not that I don't like the Mystery Machine or the other sets, but any licensed theme with a Johnny Thunder cameo needs to get the attention.

I think it was only a matter of time until this crime-fighting gang finally made it the the licensed IP list of LEGO sets. Some of my first few brickfilm attempts were made with Scooby Doo minifigs, so, if anything, the announcement is just a bit nostalgic for me.
Too bad that, aside from the haunted mansion and mystery machine sets, this first series seems to contain mostly small and uninspired sets.
