Yeah, our version of Marvel stuff isn't quite the same as the movies. While we haven't fully established it yet, I'd say our version of Captain America gets his powers sometime late in 1942 or early in 1943. But the suit used is the official Lego version of the WWII suit from the comics.

Well, I've never seen the Marvel movies fully, just bits and pieces of them, so I'm sure you know a lot more that I do. :P

And you're right, I just read the story, and this makes much more sense.
It seems kind of short. Almost like a trailer. Anyway, the animation was good, and so was the lighting. I'm not sure what the thing that Captain America was looking at was, but I think it was the
cosmic cube
, right?

Also, if the clip after the credits was important, it should have been placed before the credits, because I almost closed YouTube before the credits were over, but just thought that there might be something afterwards.

I don't know if this is in the story's canon or not, but if it's 1943 in WWII, then Captain America wouldn't have been super yet, and he wouldn't be wearing a red-white-and-blue suit with a shield, rather he would be in a war uniform, unless of course, in your story it's different, or I have my Marvel story backwards...

Either way, keep up the good work. :)
Thank you :) . I think if you read the blog story that JamPot wrote it will make more sense. This video is made to be a bridge between part 1 and part 2 of the blog series.
I will say that the object that Cap. finds is not the Tesseract, but in fact the name of the object is in the title
As far as the credits scene, if you watch the credits scenes in the films, they are most times very important. As far as the films go, Cap was wearing the Captain America suit during 1943 if I remember correctly. Thank you for your comments, I will defiantly keep them in mind when I work on my upcoming projects. :)

Here it is!!!!!!! (two weeks late!!!!!) My first installment into the MBU. Me and fellow brickfilmer Jack Rizzo have been working on ways to connect our Marvel stories in to one universe, and so the MBU (Marvel Brickfilm Universe) was born! This is the first video to connect directly with another story to be told in the MBU, with many more to come!

Thanks to Jack Rizzo for the awesome MBU logo at the beginning of this video. Watch Jack's work here: https://www.youtube.com/user/JampotAnimations

Read the short story at: http://marvelbrickfilmuniverse.blogspot.co.uk/2014/11/iron-winter-short-story.html .
