Hello, fellow brick movie enthusiasts!

I've been working on an entry for the Celebration contest/event and am in need of some last-minute voices. It's about a motley group of pirates so I'm looking for more diversity than I can do myself. Non-North American accents and female performers are welcome!

Essentially, the audition IS the performance since there really aren't any words to say, just:

1) a shout of joy that turns to disappointment (the timing on this one is fairly important since they all do this simultaneously);
2) a big sustained battle cry whilst leaping into armed conflict (swords, clubs, muskets, etc.);
3) some fighting noises;
4) any other bits you think might be useful. If you're French or trying a French accent, perhaps a "C'est dommage." or "En garde!" - that sort of thing. Don't be afraid to really cut loose and get some energy in there!

I've done a few samples and put them in my Dropbox here:

If you can spare the time to do a read for me I'd really appreciate it - be sure to tell me what name you'd like listed in the (brief) credits if your voice makes it into the final movie.

Send auditions as MP3 or smallish WAVs/AIFFs to: jaysilver[at]eastlink[dot]ca

I hope to hear from you. Thanks for reading and good luck with your own projects!
