I've had this problem before. I used a Blade of Exact-Zero (X-Acto blade). It scuffed up the helmet a bit but it did the job.

I don't think there's any way to solve this problem without at least scuffing up one of the pieces.

Good luck!

Jampot if you still have this problem, I believe I may have your solution.

Kragle (Did you think of that from the Lego movie? Lol) wouldn't work as then you would have a piece of glue stuck on top of your helmet which is not what you want.

Vacuuming would be hard and would probably take the bin as well keeping it sturdy in your hands would be quite difficult.

So your best option is getting a needle and poking the side of the helmet, this will allow it to be pushed towards you and this will deffs be your best solution I hope this helps you bro.

Sincerely,
Divine.

Drill your own.

If you make it small enough, it won't ruin the bins (I think). Then you can push a needle or something through it to get out the helmet. Just drill it in the middle of the circle on the bottom.
Well, there is probably still some air down there on the other side of the helmets, so perhaps if you create a vacuum on the other side they might be sucked out. I don't know how you'd go about doing that, though.

Another idea is that you might glue something to the top of the helmets to pulls them out, then later use something to de-kragle the handle and the helmets.

Also, you could cut the rubbish bins, of course you would lose them that way.
I'm not really sure, though.
The vacuum thing sounds like a good idea, but I too have no idea how I would do that.

I'll give the gluing a think about...and in future, the bins are going in the grey brick box, not with minfigures....

I just went to pick out my bin pieces, and I saw this!

Basically, both bins have a minifigure helmet stuck inside of them, and I can't get them out, which is really frustrating. I'd planned to use both helmets in brickfilms years ago but couldn't find them, so there's a possibility that they've been stuck in those bins for over three years. Not cool.

Does anyone have any suggestions for getting the helmets out? Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
