To be honest, you aren't going to find many, if any, good cameras out there for a price of $250.

If you do it's going to be pretty low quality. You might find a body to a DSLR for that price but you'll have to drop another $100+ dollars for a lens, and then some more for an SD card.

If you really need a camera for live action, look on craigslist. I bought my T2i and two lenses for $550.

I'm looking for one that's good for filming live action scenes, but thanks END for the webcam suggestion, I'll think about buying that for my next brick film :)

I thought about the phone thing and I've tried filming with a phone but my phone doesn't work with any tripods and has a lot of auto stuff that makes really good pictures and home video but really bad for filming a movie (also it's frame rate is really bad).
Before you ask, yes this does have to do with brickfilming, sort of, it'll make more sense when i get the video done
Are you going to be making an actual brickfilm? If not, you'll probably want to avoid purchasing a webcam. If you're recording footage, an iPhone is a great option, if you have one. There is a fairly priced app, Ultracam, that allows for 2K recoding capabilities. This should meet all of your specifications, though I am not certain about manual control. All and all, this option would save you quite a bit of money, granted you already have a smart phone.

Though, as END films pointed out, the C920 is a fantastic option if you are animating.

Before you ask, yes this does have to do with brickfilming, sort of, it'll make more sense when i get the video done

I'm looking for a good video camera that doesn't cost more than 250$, these are the specifications I need the camera to have-

Manual options for all capture settings (I've had nothing but bad luck with automatic lighting, color, etc.)[/*]

Resolution of 1920x1080[/*]

Manual focus option (I don't care if it does have auto focus as long as I can turn it off, same as the camera settings)[/*]

Films in a format that is compatible with Sony Vegas[/*]

Tripod compatible[/*]

Films 24 Frames per second (FPS)[/*]
If you could post a link to buy the camera on Amazon that'd be really useful, thanks :)
