Twist the gears, the bricks with holes then twist up or down, and the camera's platform goes up/down...Sorta. It also moves forward/back, so it's better for zooming while elevating than straight panning. I guess it's what END called "Arcing" which is not what ya'll are wanting. It's not too bad going down, but can't smoothly go up at all. And I don't have that many big and small gears, so it has to make due with a lot of medium sized ones.

It's the same principal, but not near as refined as David Boddy's rig. Sure wish I had seen that first.
Thanks , for your post END films, but i have a little question :
You said :
What is a Dolly rig?
A dolly rig is a type of camera rig that is meant to give slow and consistent straight line camera movement whether it's forward, backward, sideways, or even diagonal.
Can I make a Dolly Rig that can also make a move upwards and downwards
If yes, how can I do it?
If you watch ANP's guide it also shows a rig that moves his camera (a DSLR) up and down. It's basically the same sort of rig Endfilms uses, but erected.

I made a dolly rig based on yours End films, but I didn't have such large gears, so I used a size smaller ones. The rig works fine, but isn't as slow as your version. The ratio is something like 1:200. I'll try to slow it down a bit more using a few more gears.
