			<content type="html"><![CDATA[One other thing... audio clips that are 10 seconds or shorter fall under the FAIR USE laws and may be used.  I actually made a music video with 150+ fair use music clips, called "The Complete History of Recorded Music, Part 1."  This is from my bad's latest album, "Dawkins vs The Monkey Shakespeare Simulator".  You can watch this video, which is completely legal, at the link below:

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[An important thing to remember if you choose to use copyrighted material is that just because the copyright owner doesn't take down the video straight away it doesn't mean your safe! They could suddenly decide to enforce their copyrighted material at any time, for example I had a LEGO music video that got taken down after being on YouTube for 4 years!]]></content>

If you use under 30 seconds of it, YouTube won't touch it. I did that with one of my live-action vids, and I monetized it. I didn't get any strikes or warnings of any kind. Hope this helps. :)]]></content>

Just because everyone does it doesn't mean they got away with it or got monetization for it.  Sooner or later, they'll get caught.]]></content>
