Oh my gosh, that's a complete rumor. Some kids were scared yes, so Warner made Spike add in some more light-hearted scenes. 

But Jonze said that in the end he got to make [i]his[/i] movie.

Just like The Polar Express. That movies is overshown around christmas. Every christmas sincce it came out, my little brother has had to watch it at school.]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[I don't know. I, like you, never would have considered the book for a movie. If I remember correctly there isn't any conflict in the imaginary world in the book, is there? I could have forgotten though.
I think it's an interesting idea, making the Wild Things people in suits and only using CGI faces, and if done well it could easily help sell the nostalgic appeal of the film.]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[You know, I never looked at the book and thought "this would make an awesome movie" I mean, the book is what, thirty pages?

Anyway, those who don't know, they are making a [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=--N9klJXbjQ]Where the wild things are[/url] movie. It's live action (which makes a nice change from the slew of CGI films like Horton) and the visuals look nice - very similar to the look and feel of the book.

I wonder what the plot is like?]]></content>
