Over in the Film Discussion Forum, Troodon created a thread for the top 1,000 brickfilms, and people submitted what they thought deserved to be there. There are some positively excellent films on the list an I highly recommend you take some time to read it through.

Some great films I recommend are things like:

Hi.
I'd like to watch the most significant brickfilms/brickfilm series and get an idea into what makes those films great (or significant, if not great). I undoubtedly believe that "The Magic Portal", being the first ever, is one. "Jericho: The Promise Fulfilled" is another for its epic success. The "Joe Brickmond" series is one that I contend is among the best and funniest. "My Father Is a Tyrannasaurus Rex" belongs on the list. "The Nightly News At Nine" is just plain amazing in the scope of production. And I hear a lot about a film called "Robota", which I will have to watch. Can we compile a list of the great Brickfilms? I'd love to see them all. Maybe a 100 list.
