Thanks for all your replies :)
I'have now decided which system I chose: I chose a notebook from DELL, which is called the "DELL inspiron 17r se"
The system I chosed is Windows 8, because I want to try it, and I think it isn't so bad. Of course the design is disputed, and not everyone likes it, but on my opinion, the design is well done, and it still includes a desktop like in Windows 7. I will get the notebook for christmas. So I may post a test of Windows 8 here if I tested it. ;)

I agree with you, Squash. It's hard for me to think that there would be such a large improvement on a device.

While the Win8 looks all cool and fancy, I think I'll stick with my rugged XP for a while.

I just heard about the fact that Win 8 has lower RAM/processor usage so that may be a plus for some people, but if I had a Win laptop, I would have plenty of RAM/processing power that it wouldn't matter. I'd rather be able to move quickly and efficiently rather than the system always bugging me.
I think the whole matter has to do with the user's preference and what he likes more.

I have used Windows 8 and its a total bummer!...especially for brickfilming. I prefer Win 7 so much more. First of all the start menu has been dispersed where all the different options that used to be in one place are now scattered across the computer. It's also like a tablet where when you switch between programs, you have to wait for the last program you used to reload/open up again. Not good for brickfilming. It's no longer possible to switch between programs fast because they are not accessible via the taskbar.
I've also found that it boots up slower than Windows 7. And as far as the best layout for buttons. Windows 7 is SO much easier to use. I do not recommend Windows 8 at all.
It may be pretty decent for a smartphone or tablet, but on a laptop/desktop its a pain to use.

I personally really like Windows 8. People have been giving it a lot of crap because Microsoft made the biggest interface change since Windows NT and don't take the time to figure it out. The biggest thing I like about Windows 8 is that it is designed to work with a lot of devices including tablets. To do this Microsoft made their OS use less computer power to run Windows 8. This leaves more room for more power to your programs that you are running which is always nice.

I think you may encounter some trouble with drivers, and you'll definitely have a somewhat different learning curve. I personally find the layout out of Windows 8 [Metro] interesting, but I feel that features like 'Charms' and other nit-picks create a counterintuitive and particularly non-functional experience, slowing down and hardening tasks that could previously be done easily (yes there are keyboard shortcuts, so further investigate that, but I'm talking from the perspective of someone using a mouse). Let's just say, I didn't really enjoy it.

This is really subjective, but I feel that while Windows 8 is a step forward in some ways, in many others, it's a large leap backwards. I hate that they basically made an sub-par OS for phones and tablets, bundled it up, and slapped it onto a computer. They haven't thoroughly gone through it and meticulously polished and made sure that everything was up-to-scratch. If you really want to subject yourself to Windows 8, I'd wait a little bit for it to get established. On the other hand, Windows 7 won't be leaving anytime soon, just look at XP.

Personally I don't own Win 8 (yet) and my first impressions of it were that it would be terrible on desktop computers, however after trying it out I actually enjoyed it. :)

Windows 8 actually brings many new features with the biggest of course being the new modern UI. Others however include better start up times, better multi monitor support, a new task manager, live tiles, notifications on the lock screen and much more.

From testing it out I have found that one of the most important things to know when using Windows 8 is some of the new keyboard short cuts. People have complained about how it is designed for touch however these short cuts make the desktop experience 10 times better. For example knowing that pressing SPACE unlocks your computer and WIN + C opens the new 'charms' menu is very useful and makes the experience much more sleek.

Windows 8 is the biggest change to Windows in a long time and as a result I recommend you try it out to see what you think of it. I think you can still download the release preview or if that is too much hassle consider paying a visit to a computer shop to try it out and Google some of the keyboard shortcuts I mentioned before if you do so! :D

My brother is a geek, and has Window 8. So I may be able to help a little. ;)

As far as I know, the only real differences are that Windows 8 is lighter, and therefore runs slightly faster. It has the metro style screens, and it can be on phones, tablets and PCs. He also said that it's very similar to Windows 7.
And if you need more info, I can ask him when he gets home.

Like James I don't have much experience with Windows 8 beyond playing around with the release candidate for a few days. My biggest concern would be that Microsoft doesn't exactly have a stellar history of driver compatibility between OS upgrades.

Really, I've yet to see any compelling reason to switch over to Windows 8. The only significant improvement (relative to Windows 7) I've heard about it from an end-user standpoint is that it's supposed to boot up quickly... which is nice, but not really worth an upgrade to me.
