As Helium Frog makes the .avi file as it goes along it needs continuous access to it at all times.
If other programs are accessing it you will get problems.
Don't have a media player playing it. Also some media players tie up directory access and don't release it propertly.
Don't rename the file whilst working or move it.
Some media players alter the file header (I don't know why but they do). Helium Frog checks the file header to make sure it was created by it, so this can cause issues.
Don't edit the file or remove frames. Some editors don't build the index at the end of the file correctly or completely remove it.

Glad you got it figured out END. And Mighty, I don't know anything about corrupted files, so hopefully you and your dad can figure it out (or someone else will help). Here's one reason why they get corrupted. Also, for solving the problem, you should do an internet search, and see if anything helps.

Hope you can get it figured out. :)

END - If the site doesn't even load, then you may have a computer problem. You might try running a scan to make sure you don't have a virus. Also, have you tried downloading the program again?
Here's another person who had your problem (error 2.01), and was given some suggestions. It might help.

Mighty - Check where your pictures are are being sent to, and make sure it is a real place that you have admission to enter. Also, check this.

Hope this might help you two. If not, just try doing searches on the web to see if you can find an answer.

No need to save them it won't let me capture a single frame.

What are your camera settings/quality? I no that I had that problem when I tried going over 1080p (with the c920). I also had that problem when the files would get too large, and when I would try adding onto a current film.
Probably none of these are the problem, but I don't know. If the problem stays, you could delete the program, and redownload it.
