			<content type="html"><![CDATA[If you haven't filmed it yet, perhaps you should go for an in-shot effect.
I've done that numerous times. Just gather up some transparent orange bricks, or cotton, or tissues, I prefer the bricks myself and animate with them, shine some lights on them for cool lighting effects as well.]]></content>

			<title type="html"><![CDATA[Firecracker Explosion? (Or pop, whatever)]]></title>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[I'm doing a video where there's a fight and there's stuff used like blinding blasters and firecrackers. I'd be able to do the blinding effect, but I'm not quite sure about the firecracker. It'd obviously be a small explosion that wouldn't do much damage. Does anyone know how to do a (somewhat) believable explosion effect? (And no, I don't have big programs like illustrator, sony vegas, the works. Mainly gimp, WMM, and Paint. Quite the low budget experiment, eh?)]]></content>
