I was in Winchester yesterday, and literally by chance I had my DSLR with me, so I shot a load of footage of the Torch on its route through the city, and of the prelude to the event itself. I'm glad I was there - it was a once in a lifetime opportunity to see something like this. Don't be fooled by the blue skies, as weather in the UK is still as awful as it always has been. It was raining heavily in the morning. Accursed jetstream, making bad climates worse!

I was really annoyed with my computer - it took me twenty minutes to edit this bad boy, but four attempts to render it properly since my computer kept on having seizures in the middle of each export. Each render took about two hours. Suxville. And it's still a bit dodgy. Plus, some of the footage of the actual torch is dodgy because I couldn't get a good view of it either time I saw it (that's right, I saw it at two different places on the same day).
