Thanks guys, I was thinking the same and now it's decided : )
It was done by freezing the glass first to get that frosted look. I originally did it to make the glass more brittle to smash easier but it has a second frosted window effect too. The set up is pretty difficult to explain, instead of shooting horizontally, the entire set is on its side which makes the glass look more impressive than it would be normally.
Once I've finished that film I'll try to post a how-to explaining it more with photos etc.

Thanks again.

If there were newspapers in the 2nd, I'd vote that for sure.
I like how the glass is flying more horizontally, it looks more menacing, and just all around more "Cool."
The first one looks like it is a piece of black paper before it gets busted, and not like glass at all.
So I vote #2.

A guy is flying through a building backwards. I've ended up with two nice shots and am looking for an opinion on which smash is better.

1 is slightly more pixelated but has newspapers mixed with the smashing glass which looks good coming from an office building.

2 has a nice frosted glass look and the camera shake is nice to but it doesn't have the newspapers.

What do you guys reckon?
