Yes (blushes) I was inspired by patient 24.
(Edit) I just watched patient 24 again...I can say myself that it's exactly the same, lol, sorry.
:( I just made it as a test for building up tension (like I've all ready said). Didn't even write a script.

Great job on this one Isaac! Overall you did a great job at building the tension and providing suspense. The lighting (or lack there of) was just right for this animation. I'd like to see more! The only thing I would suggest changing is how towards the end, the camera stays on one shot with barely any movement happening (when he is standing next to the horse). Though long duration shots like this can add to the tension if used right, this one seemed to work against you a little. This could be helped by cutting between several different shots here. A shot from inside of the woods looking out at the man (perhaps from ground level) would have been a nice touch, giving the audience a feel of him being watched. Nice job though! :)

Isn't also 'The Wood' a more English term (if I'm not mistaken)? I know C.S. Lewis used that term in one of his books.

Nope. Not clay. It's actually a rock I found on a beach when I was about five. I used to like it because of it's weird color.
And your other other question,
Why is the title "Wood" and not "woods"
well, I wanted it to be a little more unique.

Very nice. The animation was quite smooth, and the lighting was well done. Although I think it could of been a bit brighter, just to help the audience see things clearer. But that is just my thoughts. Good work, the monster thing at the end was really neat. What did you make it out of?

The fact that the film is so dark makes it pretty unique and entertaining. I speak for myself and no one else but I liked it. It's pace is kinda slow but that probably was good because it added to the build-up. Why is the title "Wood" and not "Woods"? I'm just a little curious :) Oh and the monster or whatever it was which killed the guy kinda looked like giant worm/sausage that was also weirdly cool.
