Hello, I NEED YOUR HELP!

I use a Logitech C910 with MonkeyJam. After I capture, I put my frames into VirtualDub, and then into Vegas Pro 9.0. It always adds these black bars to the sides, and I want to remove them from the side and add it to the top to make it widescreen. I have no idea how to do this, and I've googled EVERYWHERE!

Please help!!!
Thanks!
