Well, I'm not entirely sure on this, but if you want to speed up/down your audio, hold CTRL and click and drag the end of the audio. That should affect that rate that the audio will play at, but I'm not sure if it will mess with the pitch and all that. I've only used technique in video clips, if my animations looked to fast or too slow.

Okay, I really am having problems with this.

I have no idea how set the rate of the video separately from the rate of the auido.
When I set the rates, it sets the same rate for both the auido and the video.
Help! :(

The main thing I want to do is have my audio play at a different rate than the video.

Should I set them to be the same? I don't think i can do that, since my video has different frame rates throughout.

Hi guys.

I've recently purchased Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD, and I've been looking about it and getting to know it more.
I have a problem with the rate of the audio and my video.

I have my pictures uploaded and edited into Sony Vegas, and I have adjusted the rate of the video.
However, when I then insert the audio, it plays at the same rate as the video, rather quickly.

So, how do I give my audio a different rate than my video?

Thanks for the help guys! :)
