Well the human eye can see up to somewhere around ten frames per second. If you do that it will look more like real motion. But if there are more frames than can be seen are present your brain will blend a couple pics. Blending a couple pics are ok But dont try more than like 24. Real movies use 24 fps if you do more it will really just waste your time. I suggest 11 fps because its just enough to look like real motion, 15 fps is great though.
also you may want so just speed up the pics even if they look "messy" make them fast. Eventually you will see what you need to fix then it will be perfect. You don't have to but improvements always good.
I think the human eye can see about 80 FPS.
CCP, using 15 fps isn't about making it big or anything, it's more of a stepping stone towards smoother animation; I use 15 fps, and I'm not well known in the brickfilming area. 15 fps is just the minimum frame-rate to get satisfactory results. And fyi, most of the "bigwigs" here use 24 or 30 fps.

It was ment to be taken as a joke
oh well I actualy Really liked the walk cycle I wouldn't have really even noticed the low frame rate if you hadn't told me
keep it up :DD

As for lunears, the animation wasn't bad for an early try. But I would recommend using 12 or 15 fps at the moment, until you get comfortable with them. I wouldn't recommend using a higher fps such as 24 or 30 until you have lots and lots of practice with 15 fps. I've been using 15 fps for about 2 or 3 years now, and I'm just starting to experiment with 24 fps.
