So every time I use my webcam (a Logitech C910 Pro HD Webcam) I plug it into my USB port and open up iStopMotion Home. Every time I do it, the live feed is slow, so then I open up photo booth, (only for Mac) and then the live feed on iStopMotion works fine.

I've been having to do this ever since I got the camera. It works, but I want to know why I have to open up the other application to make the live feed on iStopMotion faster. Please help.
