Yes. The computer that Lightworks would need to be on is a family computer. But it is not the computer I use for filming. My computer, which is the one I film and do most of the editing on, would be slowed down WAY too much with Lightworks and the codecs, because it is a 2001-2 model, and only has about 19 gigs of availible space left. :P

So, I don't think I'll be able to get Lightworks anytime soon.

Are you using a computer you share with other family members? Anything animationwise takes up a lot of space on your computer, there probably won't be enough room for all of your stuff and the other family members' stuff. It's better if you have your own computer for animation. That way, your stuff is the only thing on there. That's why my parents got me a laptop.

If you're using a computer that only you use, then you can take up all the space you want.

The program your dad is hesitant about is just codecs (whatever those are) that are needed to run Lightworks. They're fine, why is he hesitating?

The resolution of the file is the resolution YouTube will display your video as. Make sure to wait a while after uploading, the resolution will get better as your video is processed by YouTube. It will usually always eventually get to the resolution you've rendered the movie as.

Check your MonkeyJam settings as well, you might be capturing the video portion in the incorrect size.

I would, but my Dad is hesitant about downloading the other program needed for Lightworks to run.
Well It's most likely not the LQP9000 That's giving you problems. It's how Movie Maker is exporting it.
Here's a tutorial I found that could help. http://youtu.be/SeTbIkCE9uI
Thanks. I'm watching it now. ;)

My problem is that all my films are uploading to YouTube at 240p. Why is the resolution so low, and how do I get it better?

I use the Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000 for filming, MonkeyJam for frame capture, and Windows Movie Maker for editing (Those are my main ones, anyway.)

Thanks,
