I am gonna have to learn a software package anyway I look at it, so I was wondering what would be the best if I had to put some time into it. Blender looks appealing for its 'power', and I am an old Pro/Engineer guy, so it doesn't scare me that much. Is there any other suggestions?
I am wanting to do a cutout animation similar to what the kid's lego books have, and wondering if I should spend the time learning the Synfig or Blender program? Synfig seems to be a quicker learning curve, but blender seems to have ALOT of future potential...
